My problem is solved. Just changed the switch.

My 2006 LS85 does the same, but if hit hard on the strings the sound comes back.

The volume pots on my '07 LS85F act almost like a on/off switch. I only notice some difference when the pot is ou 2 or 3. I don't think the tone pot works the same way. A little twist can make some difference. Which one are audio/linear?

I was also thinking about getting some Bare Knuckes to my Tokai, but with the price of one Bare Knuckle, I can buy a Seymour Duncan JB+Jazz set. I think I'll stay with the Seymour Duncan set.
