    what do you think of this Greco on eBay?

    I didn't win this one, but was watching it. I'm looking for something similar in the future. I don't think it had a serial #, but it did have the fret edge binding...The paint looks like it's sinking into the grain on the back (maybe it's a nice thin finish, or maybe it's crappy.)...

    I don't have many places to go around here to try out good MIJ guitars, so I kind of have to trust my instincts. But I know what you mean about some of the bloodsucker eBay sellers. there's a few who frequently sell these guitars and I'll be avoiding them. I think they're greedy and feeding off...

    thanks for the tips. Hans, I think you're right about getting used to the neck profile. The good thing is that I've been seeing alot of Burnys and Grecos listed as having a "60's" profile, so at least it won't be a huge fat back. what's your take on this auction, for example?     Thanks for the welcome, Hans oh yeah, it would be used. I like the shape of the newer Epiphone necks (Dot, LP Special, etc) and was hoping I could find something similar. I don't know the exact shape, but it's a pretty thin profile. I don't want a huge fat back, my fingers aren't that long...
