I was told Standard and Custom were the same, with the custom using higher end hardware.. a "pimped" version so to speak. Maybe my source wasn't very reliable, so tell me if above is correct and perhaps about the other differences if any? kind regards, Adam

important update: Seller from initial auction has removed the negative feedback, perhaps because of this thread or the emails sent to him. Thanks everyone, the lessen learned from this is to be patient and ask many questions. :wink: I have also received some advice from a very friendly ebay...

About the solid top/back thing.. is it a practical feature or something cosmetic like the fret binding? And if you had to choose between a guitar that had a solid top, or a solid back, what would be a smarter choice? I've read this topic...
