    Ibanez Rocket Roll 2

Hi mate. No not really. If it were an 80's Artist I could tell you without a problem. I'd like a fair price, but am unsure what that is. My other thoughts on it are to keep it purely as a rarish guitar, that may (or not) increase in value and also because it's quite a player sounding nothing...

    Ibanez Rocket Roll 2

I wish! lol Thanks for the reply though, I expect these guitars are extremely variable, as Vee's are not to everyone's taste. If it's not very interesting as a seller, I'll probably just keep it. Cheers.

    Anyone selling an Ibanez Artist?

Looking for a 1970s or 80s Ibanez Artist. The AR300CS is my favoured model, but the 2619, AR300RE, AR400 and others (mahogany/maple top) are very interesting too. Could I persuade anyone to part with their's? lol

    Pot dilemma

Sorry to hear they were 10mm :( Good luck finding some at 8mm, hope it doesn't come down to opening up the holes. If I come across anything better I'll post again, but you seem to have done your homework already, so that's doubtful. I almost had an 1980 57 Re-Issue Black Beauty Burny, but...

    Pot dilemma

I had a look on Axesrus website and noted that the medium length Alpha pots are 8mm thread. Unfortunately (though in stock) they don't give a link to specs on the long version, but it's likely it's 8mm too. You could email them and see? http://www.axesrus.com/axeElectronicsPots.htm#Alpha

    Pot dilemma

I may be barking up the wrong tree, but could you fit long shaft pots in your Burny, using washers/nuts underneath to adjust height? I spotted this CTS http://www.wdmusic.co.uk/product/Premium_500k_Long_Shaft_Pot_10%25_Tolerance_CTS500XL It's threaded shaft is 18mm which I know is quite a bit...

Tokai Love Rock 2002 model LS65

Thanks I'll be that. Will report back later, but I think it's likely a good setup will sort this out for me. Cheers.

Tokai Love Rock 2002 model LS65

Now I'm back home, I see the bridge pickup height is lower overall when the body contour is taken into account. The pole pieces on both pickups don't appear to be adjusted. (ie they are uniform) Thanks for the advice, I'll set the pickups up (height and pole height) for better balance. The...

Tokai Love Rock 2002 model LS65

Yeah, as you say the neck pup is just under the cover by maybe 1mm. The bridge is over, but I don't have the guitar here to see by how much. I've ordered a par of pio caps for a little mess around with the tone control. While I'm at it, I'll check the value of both vol pots and general...

Tokai Love Rock 2002 model LS65

Thanks for that. I whipped out the multimeter and mine register 8.32 neck, 8.44 bridge. I haven't removed the bridge pup to look underneath, but the neck says LP-AF on it and looks the same as your replacements. So it would seem mine are MK II, I don't know why the neck has more volume will...

I'll remember that and keep her loaded for a gunfight :) Any idea when the cases displaying that Tokai badge will become available as a case only option? I agree with the comment it would make a cool belt buckle!

Tokai Love Rock 2002 model LS65

Yes, I already know how addictive guitar collecting can get as I have too many. Nine electrics, 1 electro acoustic and a bass. Only one is Tokai, but I have a B serial 68 Re-issue Strat that might well be Tokai made. This LS65 is my first Japanese Love Rock, I did very briefly have a Korean...

Tokai Love Rock 2002 model LS65

Hi John LOL ok thanks. I started looking up and the LS92 (VS finish) and found pics of identical guitars, so I am a little confusssed ;-) Yeah, that makes sense, so the 2002 LS60 is now the LS80 and so on. Do they all (LS65 and LS92) have MKIII pickups? I expect that to be even more confusing...
