    BURNY FLG240?!

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=300291370370 ... and sold again, only this time for $900 USD. Yeah, I still think it's a 90. If the weight is over 10 pounds, then maybe not such a bargain, even at that price... And yes: this seller IS a real piece of work.

    Help me indificate Tokai ST50

I know what you mean; it's just that the photo of the neck pocket looked to me like it had the narrow plate spacing. Take a look at this comparison of Springy neck pockets, one from (early) '78, the other from a year or two later: http://home.pacbell.net/duosonic/eBay/pockets.jpg As for the...

    BURNY FLG240?!

This seller has been "mistaken" about some of his guitars in the past too, so I'm not terribly surprised. It looks like every FLG-90 (with a veneer top) that I've ever seen, and I've owned several...

Complete Springy assembly with U pickups

Yep, it was pretty clearly a guitar that was misrepresented to him, when he bought it. I for one think it's completely proper to sell the pieces honestly... much better karma!

Arguably the best pickups ever made...

    I think they're off a Silver Star...

Well, the ash body and 6-saddle bridge are supportive of the date too; by 1982, that would have an alder body and 3-saddle bridge.

Um... 7-digit serial number, that begins with zero... pretty straight forward, right?
