Thanks Youami- I guess that solves it. Someone must have brought it back to the U.S. from South America. Then on to Ebay. It's still a great sounding and well made guitar IMO.BTW,Howe do you get the webpage to translate into english?

Thanks Youami- Here's what was in the neck pocket. Do you know what R8 means. I guess BLD means Blonde. You can't see it in the pics, but "ST" is also stamped on there.

Does the insides look like any of the older Fernandes Revivals?

Here's some better pics of my new to me Fernandes Revival.Anyone recognize these pickups? I don't see a center join and the color is more of a butterscotch than a Mary Kaye opaque finish. Sounds just like a strat should. Nice quacky sound in the 2nd position(neck and middle pickup)

Thanks for the info-I really appreciate it. The seller stated that the body is one piece. Also, I noticed that the trem had 5 springs. Did yours have a 5 spring trem also? Do you think the finish on yours was nitro?Anyone come across one that's post 2004?

    Recent Fernandes Revival

Do you think mine could be a RST95? That one on GuitarsJapan does look recent to me. If that one is actually from the 80's, I guess mine could be also. I wish there was a way to tell for sure.

Thanks Youami- I'm in Hawaii. The finish looks even "browner" than your in the pics. It's ebay item #190303495231. Couldn't open your pics but I compared it to yours on another website.

    Recent Fernandes Revival

Just took a chance on a Fernandes Revival '57 Strat in Mary Kaye Finish. I have read that these were issued in 2003. The guitar looks too "new" to be from the 80's. The finish in the photos look more like a dark brown/gold than a Mary Kaye "frost". Does anyone know if they made lower end models...

Honeyburst Super Real. Only EGF 1200?

I have dry 1982's in one guitar and Peter Florence Voodoos in another and I have to say that I really prefer the Dry 1982's over the Voodoos. Never heard the Z's. I bet a big part of the sound of the EGF 1200 is those Dry-Z's.

    Greco ES347

to forum member marcusnieman's Greco limited ES335. Same year and same sticker in the body. What is unique or odd is that this guitar has Grover imperial type tuners. Anyone come across a model like this before?I'm trying to ID the pups. Any suggestions/comments?

    Greco ES347

Hi everyone. It's been awhile since my last post. I recently acquired what I think is Greco's version of a Gibson ES347. It's an SA 700 and is very similar

    Greco Mint Collection Clown burst

MIJ- I have a 1990 Greco that looks just like yours.According to the 1990 catalog, the EG700(EG59-70) should have the Dry pickups. The pups in my guitar are unmarked but they look and sound just like the Dry 1982 pups in another Greco LP that I have. They are really great guitars.
