The 1980 LS60 in question (featured in the ebay link above) was purchased for ?360 - I am dead chuffed about it. An LS80 of the same vintage would probably go for something around ?800. Money-why care about it? :0)

I've noticed a number of Tokai 30th Anniversary models lurking about on ebay. Are there any members of the parish that own one? They tend to fall around the ?1k mark - any idea how their craftsmanship compares to a vintage LS series? Andy

Serial Number 0103439 Is this a 'confusion model' because of the '81 and '01 serial number similarities? It looks old enough to be an '81 but could very well be a battered '01. Any ideas?

Does anyone reckon that the saddles have been changed? Or did Tokai ever use non-Final Prospec saddles on their instruments? Forgive my ignorance, but would I be correct in assuming that this would be a copy of a '64 Fender (minus the lovely pink colour)?
