Was close to a purchase on the pictured '87 LP, but had (and have) discomfort with the two-piece neck. Was this a common practice for Greco? Is there reason to be concerned?

I saw this one, and the headstock has the six triangles, which I've come to believe is the mark of an MIK. I wish I could play an MIK to feel and hear the quality compred to a Gibson LP. I've never hd the pleasure of playing a Greco. Someday...

Thanks so much, Otto and Wulfman, for the tipping point. A seller here in the States wants $899 for a 1980 Super Power. It looks to be in excellent condition, but when shipping is added, it's prohibitive. I'm beginning to think I'll just have to pay more than value if I want a Greco.

In a search for a Greco Strat, it seems to me that Super Sounds is a step up from Super Power, which is a step up from Spacey Sounds. But this is just perception, as it's difficult to find evidence. Anyone here have a means to decipher quality in the Strat models based on names? I know Super...
