    Goldstar with no serial number or skunk strip - fake?

    My chance at this guitar has popped up again - I'm very tempted. It has been upgraded with CTS pots and Abby initialed CS69's in it. With the upgrades and a gigbag I can get it for $400...seem fair? Remember, I'm in Canada. Here's a pick of the neck pocket - look safe?

    The guitar is not stock - the pups are CS69, there's an American Vintage Fender bridge/trem, and the tuners are Sperzels. I just want to be sure the guitar itself is legit after the recent run-in with a Fakai Love rock.

    Love Rock ID

    Hi - was wondering if I could get some help id'ing this Love Rock. I suspect it's a MIK...TRC, pickup route and bridge are wrong for MIJ. The neck pup only has an F stamped on it, and the bridge is stamped Epiphone. The finish is undoubtedly nitro though...I wasn't aware MIKs were done in...
